There is always a fight for lightweight laptop manufacturers because most companies sacrifice parts rather than design. Although Chromebooks are gaining popularity, they are still not as powerful or easier to use as Windows laptops. However, a Chinese company called 'Magic Pen' is trying to revive the netbook category with its latest laptop 'Mag 1'.
It measures 20.7 x 14.6 x 1.8 cm, is as large as A5 paper and weighs only 700 grams. It comes with more ports than any modern laptop, including a USB 3.0 port, Type-C port, microSD port, audio jack, and micro HDMI port.
In addition to the small footprint, the laptop actually features impressive components such as the Intel Core M3-8100Y CPU, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. These features work on the Windows 10 operating system, which is pre-installed on this device. The display is a touchscreen with an aspect ratio of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It has support for the stylus, comes with a fingerprint scanner for extra security, costs just $789.99 (₹56, 400) and can be purchased from Gearbest.
Finally, the laptop lasts up to seven hours on a single charge and can be recharged via its USB-C port using the PowerBank. The laptop supports power delivery charging which means you can use any PD charger or PD power bank on the market to recharge the battery.
